If you’re particular about what goes on your skin, you’ll be happy to know we are too. That’s why we make ‘proper’ bar soap – not the synthetic detergent bars or liquid ‘soap’ that you’ll find pretending to be the real deal elsewhere. We have handmade soaps for fancy guests, for fussy hands, for fussier faces and for indulgent, all-over lathers.

What makes Lush soap special? Well, first there’s the expertise that goes into every base and blend. We don’t want to give away all our secrets but decades of experimentation have taught us to vary our palm-free soap bases for effect so every lather is unique. Whether you like your soap soft and creamy or firm and foamy, we’ve got you covered.

We also add plenty of beneficial, natural materials like dried fruits, cleansing clays and fresh juices to give you benefits beyond that squeaky clean feel. Pick up a 100g slice of Bohemian soap and you’re holding around 10 lemons’ worth of zingy lemon oil in your hands. Lather up with a 100g slice of Honey I Washed The Kids and you’re washing with over 8% skin-quenching honey. Our expert compounders blend beautiful ingredients like these into every batch (and with hands that don’t look a day over dreamy, they’re a walking ad for why it’s worth the bother).

Then there’s the credentials. Soap doesn’t get enough credit. Sit it in a well-draining dish (not in a puddle of water) and it cleans every pair of hands that pick it up then cleans itself to boot. No unrecyclable pump. No preservatives going down the drain. Our soap bases are proudly vegetable-based and palm-free for a conscience as clean as your skin.

Last but not least there’s the perfume. Soap poses a very specific challenge for the perfumer and we rise to it. Each truckle is fragranced to last with our bespoke blends made in-house.
They feature the finest essential oils, absolutes and carefully selected synthetic fragrance materials we can get our hands on so your skin smells as good as it feels right down to the last slither.
