Red Henna

Lawsonia inermis

Although the powder appears green, henna can dye hair a rich red-brown color when left on for extended periods. This makes it a perfect natural ingredient for our henna hair dyes. Henna is also extremely conditioning on the hair. We use it in moisturizers and masks to smooth the hair and add body and shine.

Henna is made from the dried and powdered leaves of the lawsonia inermis shrub, which grows throughout the Middle East, Asia and sub-tropical Africa. We make our own infusion by steeping these leaves in boiled water.
