Included in several of our products as a fragrant constituent of essential oils, we use it for its solvent properties to dissolve other perfume materials and as a fragrance material, adding to the perfume of products.
A clear, colorless organic compound with a faint balsamic odor. Benzyl benzoate occurs naturally in essential oils, and is found in ylang ylang, rosewood and cinnamon. We list this ingredient whether it's a naturally occurring constituent of an essential oil or if we use it as an ingredient itself.
